INNOVA was a sponsor to the 2nd Annual Green ICT and Telecommunications Conference 2010, which took place on Monday 17 May 2010, at Divani Caravel hotel. The theme of this year conference was “think & feel green”.

The event was organized during the Global Telecommunications Day by Smartpress and SPEG companies with the collaboration of e-TEE (Technical Chamber of Greece). The symbolic use of this day highlighted the fact that most Telecommunication companies are leading Green ICT by using environmental friendly materials, alternative energy sources whether recycling is within their major principles.

The conference presented the environmental impact of Information and Telecommunication technologies, the use of Green ICT technologies in Greece along with the potential green growth prospects as a result of modern technology. All companies of the Telecommunication industry of Greece were present in order to be updated on the new opportunities, solutions and technologies for energy saving.
